Join us for The Hummingbirds Of British Columbia’s Rocky Mountains Photography Workshop, an immersive experience that combines the breathtaking beauty of British Columbia’s Rocky Mountains with the vibrant allure of hummingbirds.
This five-day, four-night workshop is designed to provide photographers of all levels the opportunity to capture stunning images of three species of hummingbirds: Rufous, Black-Chinned, and Calliope. Potentially Anna’s as well!
Nestled in a picturesque Cranbrook. BC region with awe-inspiring mountain views, our workshop will guide you through the techniques needed to photograph these fast and elusive birds in their natural habitat. Jared Vandermeer, your expert guide, will lead you through morning and evening shoots, in-class workshops, and personalized instruction aimed at elevating your bird photography skills.

$3600.00 CAD +5% GST ( approximately $3000.00 USD) / $1800.00 Deposit

While the exact location will be disclosed upon receipt of your deposit, rest assured that you will be surrounded by stunning Rocky Mountain scenery near Cranbrook, BC. Which will provides the perfect backdrop for hummingbird photography. The setting is nothing short of spectacular—if the hummingbirds aren’t jaw-dropping enough, the views certainly will be.
Transportation is not included in the workshop fee. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation / transfers to the lodge. However, we can assist in helping you get this organized upon request.
